Social & Emotional Development
Extra support for growing minds
Our Social & Emotional Development programs and 1:1 supports help children build confidence, connection, and everyday skills through play-based learning, positive relationships, and structured skill development. Sessions are designed to strengthen emotional regulation, communication, social interaction, learning foundations, and independence to support children as they transition into kinder, school, and beyond.
Programs currently include school readiness support, individual tutoring, functional learning groups, and small group learning experiences, with supports tailored to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and developmental stage. Additional offerings, including school holiday programs and social skills groups, will be introduced soon.
These supports may be funded through NDIS Capacity Building supports where aligned with a child’s goals and are also available for private clients.

Functional Learning Group
How we can help
Transition to Foundation - 3-4 year olds
Starting school is one of the biggest transitions a child will experience.
Designed for pre-school aged children, our Transition to School, Functional Learning Group focuses on building the everyday skills children need to thrive more independently as they prepare for school.
The program supports far more than early academic tasks — it nurtures communication, social skills, emotional regulation, independence, and confidence, laying strong foundations for a positive and successful start to school.
Growing Capable Kids
A fun, supportive program that helps young children build confidence, manage big feelings, and develop practical everyday skills. Through playful, child-centred activities, children learn strategies to stay calm, adapt to change, and feel proud of their progress.
Sessions are tailored to each child’s strengths and needs, with a focus on emotional regulation, flexibility, independence, and positive social connections. Growing Capable Kids is strengths-based and neurodivergent-affirming, supporting children to feel capable, resilient, and ready to thrive at home, school, and in their community.
